With 1000+ lawyers, 300+ partners, 29 offices and 17 jurisdictions we are looking to expand our Disputes and Investigations  team, with the addition of a Litigation Senior Associate.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Independently manage a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, intellectual property issues, employment disputes, and regulatory investigations.
  • Take a lead role in drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and other legal documents with precision and accuracy.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies; provide insightful analysis of relevant laws, regulations and case precedents.
  • Collaborate with partners and colleagues across departments to develop effective litigation strategies tailored to the needs of our clients.
  • Effectively manage deadlines for multiple concurrent cases without compromising the quality of work.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, depositions and client meetings as required; represent clients’ interests ethically.
  • Mentor and supervise junior associates in the team by providing them guidance on legal procedures, court proceedings and negotiation techniques.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication about case progress and addressing any concerns they may have.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited university.
  • Admission to the Law Society of England and Wales.
  • At least 5+PQE in commercial litigation at a reputable law firm.
  • Proven ability to independently manage cases with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical skills coupled with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment towards promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the legal profession.
