Taylor Wessing is seeking a talented Employment Associate with 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience to join our Employment & Pensions team in London. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a global law firm that partners with some of the world’s most innovative businesses. Key responsibilities

 

  • Manage a full range of employment tribunal litigation, including advocacy at preliminary hearings where appropriate.Advise HR managers, in-house counsel, and senior executives on diverse employee relations issues.
  • Draft, review, and advise on HR policies, employment contracts, and directors’ service agreements.
  • Act for high-net-worth individuals on service agreements, team moves, and termination arrangements.
  • Provide UK employment law advice to international clients and coordinate cross-border projects.
  • Handle High Court proceedings relating to business protection for employers and employees.
  • Deliver corporate support, often acting as the sole employment specialist on transactions.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

 

  • Qualified solicitor with 2–4 years PQE in employment law.Strong technical ability and excellent commercial acumen.
  • Proven experience in negotiations and transaction management.
  • Ability to manage client files independently and maintain high levels of client contact.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with potential or proven business development skills.
