The opportunity for you

At Taylor Wessing, we never settle for average. We're creative thinkers, problem solvers and continuous learners who excel at what we do and believe our best work is still ahead of us. We are a firm that's large enough for you to achieve your ambitions, but connected enough to be a true community.

This is a superb opportunity for someone passionate about early careers to take the lead in shaping the future of legal talent. Whether you're an experienced Senior Advisor or an ambitious Advisor ready for your next step, you’ll be joining a collaborative and high-performing team at Taylor Wessing, working alongside Nicola Micklewright (Early Talent Senior Manager) — who brings deep expertise and fosters a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

You’ll be at the forefront of our solicitor apprenticeship and trainee solicitor programmes, helping to design and deliver experiences that are inclusive, engaging and career-defining. From attraction and recruitment through to development and pastoral care, your work will directly influence the journeys of our future lawyers across London, Liverpool, Cambridge and Dublin. With strong links to our Responsible Business, Development and Advisory teams, this role offers the chance to work cross-functionally, drive innovation, and make a meaningful impact.

  • Location: London or Liverpool.

Key responsibilities

You’ll lead the delivery of both our solicitor apprenticeship and trainee solicitor programmes, ensuring every candidate receives a first-class experience from application to qualification. This includes designing and running immersive schemes such as our First Year Insight and Summer Vacation programmes, managing assessment centres, and working closely with the Early Talent Manager to ensure a smooth onboarding transition.

Externally, you’ll build strong relationships with universities, law societies and marketing partners, while internally you’ll collaborate with colleagues across Talent, Responsible Business and Development to deliver inclusive initiatives that support social mobility and diversity.

With opportunities to contribute to project work and continuous improvement, this is a role that offers real scope for growth and influence.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in early careers recruitment, ideally within legal or professional services.
