With 1200+ lawyers, 300+ partners, 28 offices and 17 jurisdictions we are looking to expand our Real Estate  team, with the addition of a Construction Associate.

 

The opportunity for you

 

The role will mainly consist of contentious construction work. The associate will have a high level of client contact and will be expected to take responsibility for their workload and be proactive in their approach to the client's needs. The associate would also be involved in business development for the practice.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

•Candidates must have a proven track record of involvement in significant contentious construction cases.
•Candidates must have an aptitude for analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills and a solutions oriented mindset. This includes managing risk by identifying potential issues early on and advising accordingly.
•Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to explain complex legal arguments clearly.
•Candidates will have experience in planning and executing strategy, working on multiple matters and timelines with a commercial perspective, to ensure efficient delivery of legal services in accordance with client budgets.
•Candidates with experience in engineering, PPP/PFI and energy contracts are encouraged to apply.
