We’re looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join our growing and dynamic Risk Management team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analytical work, problem-solving and working collaboratively in a professional services environment.
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting the firm’s conflicts function by identifying, analysing and helping to resolve ethical and business conflicts in line with professional conduct rules and firm policies. Working closely with senior colleagues and our US Conflicts Team, you’ll gain exposure to complex, high-quality work and be supported to develop your expertise in both SRA and American Bar Association (ABA) conflicts analysis.
This is a role where attention to detail, sound judgement and a proactive approach are valued, and where you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to how the firm manages risk.

As a Conflicts Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing information submitted by partners via the Intapp Open intake system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Conducting preliminary conflicts analysis in accordance with applicable ethical rules and firm policies
- Preparing clear and detailed conflicts reports, including proposing practical and effective resolutions
- Maintaining and updating the firm’s conflicts database to ensure client and matter information is accurate, current and well documented
- Recording conflict resolutions and managing any associated waivers
- Delivering a high standard of customer service to colleagues at all levels of the firm throughout the conflicts clearance process
- Supporting the testing and review of new systems and software used by the conflicts function
- Assisting with urgent conflicts matters when required, including participating in occasional out of hours or on call cover
Knowledge, skills and experience
We’re keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- A degree (or equivalent qualification) with strong academic performance
- Some experience in conflicts, compliance, analytical research or a similar role within a corporate or professional services environment
- An interest in conflicts analysis and ethical rules; prior exposure to ABA conflicts rules is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to adapt to new systems and software
- Experience with Intapp products is desirable but not required
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
- A positive, proactive mindset with a genuine commitment to continuous learning and development
