As a Business Analyst within our Change function, you’ll partner with teams across the business to understand their needs, shape requirements, and support the delivery of smarter processes, better systems, and high‑quality services. Key responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Lead the discovery and analysis of business problems and improvement opportunities
- Document current and future state processes using BPMN
- Elicit, define and manage business, functional and non‑functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear, structured specifications for technical and business teams
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across legal practice groups and Business Services
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and working groups to gather insight and drive consensus
- Present findings, recommendations and solution options to senior stakeholders
Project Delivery
- Support delivery across the full project lifecycle, working closely with Project Managers and Change Managers
- Manage and lead on user acceptance testing (UAT), including test scripts, execution coordination and defect triage
- Assess business readiness and contribute to go‑live planning and BAU transition activities
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering IT and/or business change projects.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to simplify complexity.
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey information clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience facilitating discussions and workshops.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and manage multiple assignments.
- Adaptable in approach and able to work to different project delivery methodologies.
- Experience in working with diverse stakeholders, ideally across multiple locations.
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and develop skills and collaborate effectively with other Change Team members.
Preferable but not essential:
- Experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Knowledge of legal operations, legal technology platforms or workflow solutions.
- Business Analysis certification (BCS, IIBA or equivalent).
