With 1200+ lawyers, 300+ partners, 28 offices and 17 jurisdictions we are looking to expand our IT Services  team, with the addition of a AI Product Manager.

 

The opportunity for you

 

The AI Product Manager will serve as the central point of coordination to deliver the vision for the TW portfolio of AI tools. This portfolio includes both internally built tooling as well as externally purchased products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, ideally within the legal technology sector, specifically in artificial intelligence and machine learning as well as an appreciation of law firms and the practice of law. The role requires strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Work closely with our 0 to 1 innovation team to understand and categorise opportunities for internal development or purchase.
  • Collaborate with internal developers, procurement, risk and compliance to ensure a smooth delivery of internally developed and purchased products.
  • Develop detailed product specifications including user stories, feature requests, workflows, wireframes and KPI's.
  • Creating and managing product roadmaps. Develop and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps to ensure the continuous delivery of innovative features, aligning with business objectives and user needs.
  • Prioritise features based on user feedback, market demands, and strategic goals.
  • Managing vendor relationships. Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with vendors, coordinating on roadmap alignment, conducting product trials, and gathering actionable feedback to enhance product offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding product updates and progress.
  • Translate technical details into business context for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager buying and building applications.
  • Experience of working in law firms and the practice of law.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies such as machine learning models, natural language processing (NLP), neural networks etc.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal; adept at presenting complex information clearly to various audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities; proficiency in data analysis tools is a plus.
