As a ServiceNow Platform Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our IT services, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of ServiceNow solutions across the firm. This is your opportunity to lead platform upgrades, develop customised solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional technology experiences for our people and clients.
This is an inital 12 month fixed term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Upgrades: Plan, coordinate, and execute ServiceNow platform upgrades with minimal disruption.
- Incident & Request Management: Resolve platform incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
- Development & Customisation: Design and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations within ServiceNow.
- System Administration: Maintain platform stability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Customer Focus: Translate business requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions that deliver measurable benefits.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and adoption.
- Onboarding & Training: Support new teams joining the platform with training and guidance.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive records of configurations and processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of ServiceNow trends and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a ServiceNow Platform Lead or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, WSD, HRSD, ITOM, CMDB).
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and/or Application Developer preferred.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Customer Orientation: Ability to understand business needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is beneficial.
