With 1200+ lawyers, 300+ partners, 28 offices and 17 jurisdictions we are looking to expand our IT Services  team, with the addition of a Senior Knowledge Engineer.

 

The opportunity for you

 

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Knowledge Engineer/Technologist to join our award winning Legal Technology team to deliver innovative knowledge solutions for clients, fee earners and the wider business using our Legal Tech product suite. This person will ideally have 4+ years working with a broad range of Legal Tech products including HighQ Collaborate, Contract Express, Kira, Luminance and Bryter.

 

You will be able to demonstrate in depth knowledge of critically assessing requirements and delivering innovative solutions.

 

You will be passionate about legal technology and want to work on world class products in a fast paced, innovative environment delivering efficiencies internally and also externally to clients. 

 

You will work closely with our Legal Technology Manager based in Liverpool and our Senior Knowledge Engineer and three Knowledge Engineers based in London.

 

The team work closely with the business to identify opportunities and potential use cases, capturing requirements and then translating them into a customised product for delivery to the business and clients. 

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • You will be able to establish and cultivate relationships with stakeholders at all levels to raise awareness of the Legal Tech products and the value they create alongside identifying new use cases.
  • You will be responsible for managing the delivery of Legal Tech projects from initial requirements gathering through delivery and beyond.
  • Mentoring the Knowledge Engineers.
  • Assisting with team reporting and financial management.
  • Assisting with vendor management, technology trials, and proof of concepts.
  • First point of escalation for support queries and support mailbox responding to queries from the business and clients.
  • Training lead on Legal Tech products.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

 

  • A natural problem solver who can demonstrate creative thinking.
  • Ability to work at a high level without supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of the team's output.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clarify instructions where required.
  • Proactive with an interest in legal technology and learning how to use new features and products.
  • Highly IT literate.
  • 4+years experience using HighQ Collaborate.
  • Experience of Contract Express, Betty Blocks, Bryter and Kira or Luminance preferred.
  • Power Platform/Power Automate experience preferred.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage your workload and work to deadlines.
  • Strong team player.
