This is an exciting opportunity to join our Talent Development team as a Digital Learning Specialist, where you will play a key role in enhancing digital capability, championing AI‑enabled learning, and creating engaging development experiences for colleagues across both legal and business services teams.
Based in our Liverpool office, you’ll work collaboratively with stakeholders to design, deliver and continuously improve learning solutions that support our strategic goals. Key responsibilities
Digital Induction & Upskilling

Digital Induction: Deliver induction and ongoing digital skills training, including AI tools, ensuring seamless onboarding and digital upskilling including Ai literacy.
LMS Support & Content Management
-
Review, develop, and maintain engaging content on the LMS, ensure resources are current, engaging, inclusive and support colleague engagement.
AI Integration & Enablement

Design relevant programmes, support the next phase of our digital learning strategy to embed Ai. Ensuring content is relevant for each practice area and aligned with strategic development goals, taking Ai to the next level of development.
Continuous Improvement & Evaluation

Assess training effectiveness through data collection and stakeholder feedback, use insights to iterate programmes for maximum impact. Actively seek opportunities for process enhancement in all aspects of digital learning delivery.
Collaboration & Team Support

Work collaboratively within the team, provide guidance and solutions to colleagues through approachable communication and solution-oriented service.
Thought Leadership & Strategy
- Monitor industry trends in digital learning, especially those related to AI and recommend innovative approaches that position Taylor Wessing as an industry leader in Digital Learning within Talent Development.
Knowledge, skills and experience
This role requires the individual to have the following technical capability:
Essential:
- Advanced knowledge and delivery of MS packages including Office 365.
- Experience of training in Windows' applications.
- Proven experience as a Digital Learning Specialist or IT Trainer role.
- Demonstrable understanding of AI technologies (e.g. generative AI, prompt engineering) and their responsible application in workplace learning.
- Familiarity with legal sector document management systems (e.g. iManage) for training requirement purposes.
- Experience of developing technical training programmes .
- Experience of facilitating in person, online and hybrid training programmes.
- Confident communicator; able to present complex technology concepts clearly to varied audiencesStrong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Skilled at collecting/analysing feedback to drive continuous improvement in digital learning delivery
- Strong organisational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Evidence of awareness of digital learning trends, especially emerging AI approaches and contributing innovative ideas to support excellence in delivery.
Desirable:
- Working proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline/Rise) and video creation/editing software (e.g. Adobe Captivate)
- Experience of using Learning Management System (LMS) such as SAP.
- Experience using internet/intranet applications for training delivery or content management
- Formal qualifications in learning & development/digital education/AI (e.g. CIPD/TAP/Microsoft Certified Trainer)Formal training qualifications.
