With 1200+ lawyers, 300+ partners, 28 offices and 17 jurisdictions we are looking to expand our Talent Development  team, with the addition of a Digital Learning Specialist - 12 month FTC.

 

The opportunity for you

 

The Digital Learning Specialist role is part of the Talent Development department.  This role focuses on increasing digital skills, knowledge and capability across the firm.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Induction Programs: Plan and execute induction training for new hires, acquainting them with the organisations technology infrastructure, software applications, and IT policies.
  • Software Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on all Microsoft Office products, and other relevant software applications.
  • Customise Training Materials: Create and update training materials, documentation, and user guides to support ongoing learning initiatives. Ensuring training materials and other supplementary resources are up-to-date.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Conduct assessments to gauge the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Provide insights into industry-specific technology needs and processes.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

 

This role requires the individual to have the following technical capability:        

 

Essential:

  • Delivery of MS packages including Office 365.
  • Experience of training in Windows' applications.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Learning Specialist or IT Trainer role.
  • Familiarity with iManage or other document management systems.
  • Experience of developing technical training programmes.
  • Experience of facilitating in person, online and hybrid training programmes.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

 

Desirable:

  • Adobe Captivate or other video recording software.
  • eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline / Rise.
  • Experience of using Learning Management System (LMS) such as SAP.
  • Internet / Intranet applications.
  • Formal training qualifications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the impact of Artificial Intelligence.
